He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha; and his siblings, Karl and Lillian Krause. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his son Philip (Twila); his grandchildren, Aaron, Evan, Herman, Rodney and Gloria Arndt; and his siblings, August, Lydia Jesse, Mannetta Rothwell and Elsie Tafelmeyer.
