He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irvin Koester and Magdalen Koester (Rosner); his wife Jean; his children, Stephen (Barb), John, James (Trudy), Nancy Bergeron (Mark), Patricia Turbak (Tim), Carol Lehr (Jeff), Joseph and Jennifer Riley (Chris); his grandchildren, Michael, David, Katie, Emily, Dillon, Matthew, Emma, Maggie, Austin, Julian, Mason, Aiden, Kevin and Logan; his great grandchildren, Gage, Hailey, Knox, Hannah, Brooklyn, Elisabeth, Olivia, Leah, Brady, Charley, Collins, Hoyt and Shelby; and his siblings, Irene Malina, Peter Koester (Agnes), Anna Karner (Fred), Joan Torino and George Koester.
