She is survived by: her children, Karin Gerlach (Georg) and Wolfgang; her grandchildren, Stephanie Friesen (Clinton), Ryan, Suzanne and Alexander Gerlach; and her great grandchild Emma Friesen. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
