She was predeceased by: her son Chip; and her parents, Leopold S. Cox and Clara Cox. She is survived by: her sisters, Jacqueline Cox of Palm Springs, FL. and Carla P. Cox of Boca Raton, FL; her adoptive son Jamaal Witherspoon of Washington, D. C.; her cousin Thelma Russell of Albany, GA.; and her close friend Grace Dowdell (James) of Boca Raton, FL.. She is also survived by her family, church members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint Paul United Methodist Church (244 SE 2nd Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
