He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Roberts; and his siblings, Lil, Ann, Teen, Harriette, Charles and Alf.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his children, Debbie (Pat), Joseph and Alice (Jimmy); and his close friends, Olga, Sandra, Donnie, Will, Andy, Rose, Dianne, Dorothy and Eddie. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
