He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Hand; his grandfather LeRoy "Buddy" Hand; his brother David Mathus; his cousin Tommy Trainer; and his spouse Lou Ann Dunham-Mathus.
He is survived by: his father John Mathus of Princeville, IL; his daughters, Loreli Mathus of Peoria, IL and Candice Mathus of Las Vegas, NV; and his siblings, Mark Mathus of Peoria, IL, Daren Mathus (Katie) of Peoria, IL, Brandan Mathus (Angie) of Bartonville, IL, Spencer Mathus (Hannah) of Oceanside, CA, Jean Ann Schmidgall of Peoria, IL and Shelley Mathus of Colorado. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Terry's daughters for final expenses.
