It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Ray Carter Sr. (Debary, Florida), who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruthie Joyce and Dan Wesley Carter; and his siblings, Richard, Dennis Carter, Marilyn Ritch and Carolyn Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae Clayton; his children, Tammy Van Gennip (Kevin) of Orange City, FL and Danny Jr. Carter (Sandy) of Fort Worth, TX; his granddaughters, Katie Zurline (Mark) of O'Fallon, MO, Kelly Van Gennip of Orange City, FL, Allison McDonough (Gregory) of Edinburg, TX and Claire Carter (Collin McBee) of Fort Worth, TX; his great grandchildren, Lexi and Lani Zurline; and his brother Terry Carter.
