It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Versie Lee Smith of Daytona Beach, Florida, born in Louisville, Georgia, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert and Sally; her former husband Thomas Trawick, Sr.; her husband Emory Smith, Sr.; her sisters, Sharon Smith and Bobbi Lambert; and also Dana.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas, Trawick, Jr., Joann, Marion and Emory Marion; her brother Freddie Williford; her grandchildren, Shaun Trawick, Zeth Trawick, Blake Trawick, Sarah Trawick, Shea Marion (Kim), Todd Marion, Travis Smith and Lindsey Gardner (Drew); and her great grandchildren, Lexie Trawick, Connor Marion, Emily Marion, Zack Marion and Lucas Gardner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lohman Funeral Home (1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Daytona Memorial Park (1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114).
