It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Rogers of Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, P. E. Bridges and Annie Belle Bridges; her husband Welford L. Rogers; her sons, James W. and John W. Rogers; and her siblings, Louise Bridges, Marilyn Craig, JohnnieRae Bridges, Joyce Garner, Sonny Edward Bridges and Scott Bridges.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Shields (Dan). She is also survived by 4 granddaughters and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMahan's Funeral Home (249 S Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel (249 S Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
