In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy MaryAlice leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though MaryAlice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Butler (Session) and Clarence Butler. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Edwards, Grace Harris, Melody Jackson, Nicole Brown and April Johnson. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a multitude of family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. J. Gainous Funeral Home (804 Dr Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Allen Chapel AME Church (580 George W Engram Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Volusia Memorial Cemetery (548 N Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174).
