He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesole Cassese and Louise Cassese. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Gina (Chuck), Kathleen (Scott) and John Jr. (Michelle); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Alyssa (Ryan), Nicole, Matthew (Brianna), Maddison (Adam), Victoria (Junior) and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Piper and Chase.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Maria Regina Roman Catholic Church (3945 Jerusalem Ave, Seaford, NY 11783). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
