She was predeceased by: her parents, Desmond Blanton and Nannie Harrell Blanton; her former husband Leon Wood; her husband William "Bill" Lane; and her brother Glendal Blanton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Chloie Musick, Karren Littell (Bruce) and Britt Blanton (Pearlene). She is also survived by five nieces; two nephews; three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
