She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Hays (Linda), Tommy Hays (Sheila), Jimmy Hays (Roberta), Suzie Berrios (David) and Eugene Hays (Kat); her grandchildren, Michael Wright, Amanda Karaokis, Wayne Hays, Giani Martinez, Billy Blount, Carrie Connell, Dalton Blount, Jamie Randall, Ronnie Hays, Regan Gomolak, Grace Hays, Ryan Gomolak, Alexis Hays, Josh Berrios and James Hays II; her brother Mike Mayo; and her brother-in-law Denis Thomas.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home of Brandon (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
