She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Anderson Sr and Clara Jelks; and her siblings, Willie Jelks-Anderson Jr, Clarence Jelks-Anderson, Willie Oliver Jelks-Williams, Doris Jelks-Robinson and Ollie May Jelks-Mayes.
She is survived by: her sons, David Thomas Jr. and Ronnie J. Thomas. She is also survived by (son), more than a dozen grandchildren, over 35 great-grandchildren, a number of great-great-grandchildren.
