She is survived by: her father Thomas Nutting; her husband Gilbert Monroe; her daughters, Tonia Monroe and Tia Whildin; and her granddaughter Golden Miller. She is also survived by her father, mother-in-law, aunts and uncle, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
