She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Ayers and Lennie Ayers; her sister Emily Ayers; and her granddaughter Holly Cornwell. She is survived by: her husband John Jay Wender, Jr.; her children, Jan Cornwell (Ricky), John Wesley Wender and Nell Chase (Tony); her grandchildren, Lauren Miller, Valerie Azzarello, Kelli Wender, Ryan, Logan Cornwell, Parker and Peyton Chase; and her sister Annie Caldwell. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
