He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bruce Gower and Janet Low Gower; and his brothers, Hamish, Bruce, Angus and Douglas.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia McGuire Gower; and his children, Andrew Douglas Gower (Sierra Ann Gower) of Tampa, FL and Kate Sue Gower of Marshall, NC..
