He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Benedict and Marion Benedict (Shean); his son Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Gelormino and Viola Gelormino.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Capuano (Bill) and Diane Benedict Coury (Jeff); and his granddaughter Lea Vedovelli. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece, and several cousins.
