It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Burns of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur O. Jacobson and Ruth Crouch Jacobson; her brother John Jacobson; her husband Robert Burns; and her son-in-law Dan Cardin.

She is survived by: her sister Mardi Hany (Fred); her children, Susan Akins (Trent), Caren Cardin and Shawn Jenkins (Jocelyn); her stepdaughter Lynne Tiner (Mike); her grandchildren, Joseph Ferrara (Emma), Jacob Koehn, Jami Akins, Chelsey Koehn, Alex Jenkins, Olivia McPherson (Charlie), Ryleigh, Knox and Sadie Jenkins; and her great grandchildren, Eli, Isabella, Gabriella, Raegan, Teddy, Mills, Kayla, Nicolas, Brent, Blake and Emerson.
