With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ruth DeAquinos of Davie, Florida, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Martin and Bryant Martin (Bob); her grandchildren, Robbin, Bobby Jr. and Bill; her daughter Shari (Ed) of Davie; and her grandchildren, Joey, Ashley, Patti and Amy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Perspective Ministries, P.O. Box 286, Woodstock, GA 30188 (https://perspectiveministries.kindful.com), to assist them in caring for widows and the fatherless.

“I just learned of Dottie’s passing. I am so saddened. Die and I were very best friends at Edison, in majorettes together. I graduated a year before her, but we always stayed in touch, especially after I moved to Port St Lucie from Texas. We last twirled together on the stage of the auditorium at Edison in 2005. I loved her so much and I know she loved me as well. She and I had some wonderful times together! My deepest sympathies to you Shari.”
