She was predeceased by: her parent Claude Charles McGowan; her husband Leon Warren Luce; her siblings, Charles Billy McGowan and Lois McGowan; her son Paul Seats; her stepson Leon Luce, Jr.; and her grandchild Timothy Seats.
She is survived by: her parent Mary C. McAnear McGowan; her sons, Ricky Seats (Brenda) of Advance, Jerry Seats (Diane) of California and John Seats (Yonhui) of Reidsville; and her stepdaughter Laura Brown (Ken) of California. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
