He is survived by: his wife Alice Jeffries; his children, Todd Jeffries of North Carolina, Alice Parris of Eden and James Grimes (Liz Trent) of Beaver Dam, Virginia; and his brother John Jeffries of Burlington. He is also survived by six grandchildren as well as several cousins.
