With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Taylor Bennett of Davenport, Florida, born in Bladenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelyn Ellis and Lloyd Taylor; and her brother Robert Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Bennett; her children, Diane Hobbs (David), Kenneth Green (Ursie) and Vikki Shelton (Sam); her stepdaughters, Tracie Sawyer (Steve) and Michelle Bennett; and her siblings, Joyce Ellis (Royce), Patricia Allen and Jerry Taylor (Sharon). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
