He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard James Sr. and Doris M. Tompkins Staber. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia R. Siron Staber; his sons, Christopher G. Staber (Natalie) of Winter Garden and Corey J. Staber of Davenport, Florida; and his siblings, Robert Staber of Old Town, Florida and Karen Laube (David) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
