It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Brooks of Davenport, Florida, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eugene and Catherine Hartman Brooks; and his brother Earl "Duke" Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Brown; his children, Richie Brooks, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Sharon Hasa of Naperville, Chuck McSweeney of Marlton, Michelle Brooks of Mt. Laurel, Chad McSweeney of Monroe Township, Joe Brooks of Gibbsboro and Julie Brooks of Charleston; his siblings, Kayanne Neider of Pittsburgh, Tootsie Brooks of Pittsburgh, Mary Bellan of Westfield and Judy Hanson of Marlton; and his grandchildren, Ryan Hasa, Brendan Hasa, Khristian Brooks, Michael McSweeney, Brianna McSweeney, Natalie Brooks, Jennie Brooks, Lillie Brooks, Mackenzie Brooks, Adrianna Miller and Ian Shipp.
