He was predeceased by: his father Paul Groubert; and his grandparents, Paul, Roberta Groubert, Earl and Sarah Emmons.

He is survived by: his mother Thelma Groubert; his children, Mark Andrew Groubert, Justin Tyler Groubert, Mindy Wisenbaker and Chris Smith; his siblings, Vicki Harrod (Mike), John Groubert (Lisa) and Cheryl Groubert (Lori); his nieces and nephews, Matthew Harrod, Johnny Groubert, Michael Rice, Amy Anderson, Brittany Groubert and Emily Reynolds; his former wife Regina Groubert; and his pet Shay.
