With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Joan Geake of Davenport, Florida, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert James Crawford and Martha Crawford (Penny). She is survived by: her husband George Geake; her children, Bethany (Francis Viens) of Medford, Greg (Kristen Gake) of Wilmington and Brad (Kristin Hagen) of Burbank, California.; her grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica), Michael, Julia, Oscar, Hal and Aksel; and her brothers, Roy Crawford (Mary) and Bob Crawford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Besides her church work, she was an active community volunteer, steering a fundraising effort on the independent living home "A New Day" in Groton, working on a Habitat for Humanity build in Vero Beach, and donating plasma at a Boston area hospital.
