John W. Merritt, age 73, of Davenport, FL passed away November 4, 2017.
A longtime Disney Cast Member, John touched the lives of so many others during his many years with the company. Lovingly, he is remembered for his kindness and welcoming persona which made every person he met feel like they meant the world to him.
John will always be remembered for his young at heart personality, warm smiles, and, mostly notably, the birthday messages he never failed to send on Facebook to all of his former Cast Member friends from Disney.
Peruse his Facebook, and you'll see that the everyone's most common memory of John is his birthday messages and how much they will miss this simple act of kindness. John's spirit was contagious and, it goes without saying, the world has lost an amazing human being. John will be missed and our hearts will never be the same without him.
