He is survived by: his wife Flerida Ruiz; his siblings, Francisco Ruiz, Wigberto Ruiz, Anita Miranda, Edith Ruiz, Esther Ruiz, Cristina Morales and Margarita Ruiz; his granddaughter Leticia Vargas; and his great grandchildren, Freddie Vargas, II, Freddie Vargas, III and Freddie Vargas, IV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
