She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmie Lilly Anderson Stewart and John Lester Stewart. She is survived by: her spouse Eston Metts; and her grandchildren, James Matthew Duncan, Derek Lee Metts (Hahn), Kristofor James Metts, Elizabeth Maureen, Tracey and Krystal.
Due to COVID19 protocol at the Florida National Cemetery, no flowers will be accepted. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made by way of the Diabetes Foundation in memory of Lorene Metts.
