He was predeceased by: his parents, Cop McKendree (Clarence Albert) and Ethel Harper McKendree; his sister Lucille Musser; his parents-in-law, Wesley and Betty Bryant Prater; and his nephew Cody Prater.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Prater McKendree; his son Brent McKendree (Sharon); his grandsons, Blain and Laken (Beatriz Cruz); his sister Mary Lee Capparelli (Joe); his brothers-in-law, David, Dan and Dwayne Prater (Jackie); his nieces and nephews, Becci Gonzalez (Jesse), Brenda McCoy, Melissa LaMonte (Mark), Barbie Moore (Mike), Corrie, Cassie, Lindsey, Aubrey, David Jr., Jason, Joel and Jarrod; and his great-nephew Wesley Croft.
