He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Sparks and Irene Maddox Sparks; and his sister Beverly Ann Hodson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Switzer Sparks; his sons, Kevin Sparks (Denise) of Spring Hill, FL and Bradley Sparks (Vanessa) of Lebanon, IN; his stepchildren, Scott Rayl of Bringhurst, IN, Lynda Campbell of Cottontown, TN, Steven Rayl of Kempton, IN, Jason Rayl of Murfeesboro, TN, Shane Cooper of Noblesville, IN and Greg McClain (Shelly) of Indianapolis, IN; and his sisters, Barbara Miller (Eddie) of Pharas, TX and Jean Eldridge (Bob) of Arcadia, IN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Ron would have wanted you to donate to Wounded Warriors as he has one in his family and did his tour of duty in Korea in the Army.
