He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Davis and Elsie Davis; and his son James Carl Davis. He is survived by: his wife Peggy L. Davis; his children, Shirley Lee Davis, Bonnie Sue Benvenuto (James) and Turmak Stevens Davis (Annette); and his siblings, Thomas Davis and Brenda Davis Karnowski. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
