He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Chessher and Alma L. Chessher (Williams); his son John Henry Chessher Jr.; and his pet Ladybug. He is survived by: his wife Violet M. Chessher (Fulwood); his children, Wanda Singletary (Earl), Kathy Wilbanks (Terry) and William Chessher (Kelley); his daughter-in-law Nancy Chessher; his grandchildren, Rick, Robin, William Jr. "Willie", Lance (Shannon), Eric, Leah and Chace; his great grandchildren, Justin (Savannah), McKenzie, Peyton, John, Mackenzie, Kaylyn, Nick, Nolan, McKinley, Shelby, David and Christian; and his great great grandchildren, Ana and Brantley. He is also survived by several siblings; and many other friends.
