She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Braswell and Bedia Braswell; her husband James Wilks; her grandson Colin Jahns; and her siblings, Dixie, Marvin, Bobby, Willis, Gloria Jean and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Hinson, Debbie Hinsz, Mickey Wilks (Robin), Wendy Lane (Randy) and Kevin Wilks; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Jason, Jed, Jesse, Jeffery, Jackie, Jordan, Brad, Kaela, Kathleen and Myka; her great grandchildren, Ozzy, Teddy, Ayrton, Joy, Brady and Owen; her close friend Edna Darsey; and her pet Boomer.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in JoAnn's memory to Gulfside Hospice and/or Dade City Little League.
