He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Armstrong and Rosalie Armstrong; and his sister Sharon Mylarski of Oil City, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepson Jeff Giles (Margeaux); his grandchildren, Gemma and Julien of Tampa, FL; and his brother Daniel Armstrong of Longview, TX. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and a niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
