He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; and his father Julio. He is survived by: his siblings, Carmen Cacciatore and Julio Jr. Alvarez (Christine); his sons, James (Mary), Paul (Lisa) and Joseph Alvarez of Dade City; his grandchildren, Joey (Shannon), Ariell, Cody (Emily), Austin (Abigail), Zachary and Alexis; and his goddaughter Julie Zamora.
