He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred R. and Annis Lorine Reedy Sr.; his brother James Earl Reedy; and his grandchildren, Mark Reedy, Hunter Lodge and Zachary Kirby.

He is survived by: his wife Jewell "Judy" Reedy; and his children, David, Angela Reedy, Donna Reedy, Derrick, Terri Reedy and Dannette Wood. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
