She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sampson and Mary Sampson; and her son Derrick Payne. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Pugh and Stacey Felder; her husband Bancroft Lamont; her siblings, Dorothy Franklin and James Earl Sampson; and her grandchildren, Clevon, Keshia, Charles Wilson, Drevon Brockington, Derrick Jr., Alonzo, Bryce Sampson, Trenton Payne, Quaneshia Felder, Sytearia Sampson, Desmond Harrison and Daron Kennedy.
