He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Jordan McLaughlin and Edith Fannie White McLaughlin; his daughter Donna Louise McLaughlin; and his brother Raymond McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Merlene Ada Farnsworth McLaughlin of Harrisburg, NC; his children, Denise Hurst (Jimmy) of Daytona, FL, Greg Davis of Gastonia, NC, Gary McLaughlin (Yvonne) of Monroe, NC and Robin Guilmain (Steven) of Harrisburg, NC; and his siblings, Roger McLaughlin (Edie) of Underhill, VT, Floyd McLaughlin (Vesta) of Jericho, VT and Dorothy Blodgett of Underhill, VT. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
