He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shipe and Martha Shipe (Bond); his wife Maxine; his stepson Karl Gooseman; and his siblings, Lillian Gatten and Dalton Shipe.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Shipe of New York and Joe Shipe of Florida; his stepchildren, Linda of Ohio, Marcy of Ohio and David King (Linda) of Ohio; his stepdaughter-in-law Mary Edna Gooseman of Florida; his grandchildren, Anthony Shipe (Jodie) of Florida, Timothy Shipe (Mary Lynn Do) of Washington, Barbara Gooseman-Carbaugh of Florida, Michael Gooseman (Cindy) of Florida, Julie Harmon (Gary) of Florida, Amanda King of Illinois, Amy King of California and Andrew King of Ohio; and his sister Lorraine Madden of Wyoming.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel with COVID 19 restrictions and social distancing enforced.
