She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Smith and Carrie Woodie Smith; her daughter Yvonne Trueblood Barker; her son-in-law Rev. Norman G. Simmons; and her siblings, Martha WIiliams, Mary Pearson, Melba Walker, Lewis Adams, Florie Hansberry, Richard Adams, Ruby Smith Thomas and John Smith Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Simon J. Trueblood, Kenneth Trueblood and Sandra Trueblood Simmons; her sister Louise Smith White; her goddaughter Gwendolyn Thinn; and her grandchildren, Maurice Simmons, Gerald Trueblood (Tiffany), Carrie Y. Brown (Jeri-Lee), Tiana Marshall (Ronald), Garland Simmons (Jacqueline), Sean Simmons (Precious), Marjorie Trueblood, Samantha Trueblood, Simon Joseph Trueblood and Kenjay Trueblood. She is also survived by four nieces and three nephews; seventeen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and a host other relatives and friends.
