She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mersing and Lillian Mersing (Niner); her significant other Bernard Eisler; her husband Andrew Brodie; her brothers, Ronald and David Mersing; her nephew David Mersing; and her sister-in-law Ethel Mersing.
She is survived by: her caregiver Alana Nicol (Wayne); her daughter Londa Walker (Marty Walker) of Frostburg, MD; her grandchildren, Adam Nicol (Kathy) of Cresaptown, MD, Bridget Houdersheldt (Zach) of Jacksonville, FL and David Walker; and her great grandchildren, Codi Nicol (Tina McClellan), Atticus Nicol, Layla, Nash, Elizabeth Walker and RoseMary Walker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sowers Funeral Home (60 W Main St, Frostburg, MD 21532). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens (11128 Cash Valley Rd NW, La Vale, MD 21502).
