He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charleshugh Edwards and Sallie Ledbetter Edwards; his wife Carole Edwards; his children, Leigh Ann Cosmo (Leonard), Lynn Dicks (Steven) and John; his sister Jo Claire McClain; his grandchildren, Meagan Edwards, Ashley Edwards, Jasmine Edwards Wright (Curtis) and Noah Edwards; his great grandchildren, Alexander Edwards and Liam Wright; his son Charles Hugh Hamilton Edwards III; and his brother L. G. Edwards.
