She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Monroe and Lee McClendon; her siblings, Willie, Jesse McClendon Sr., Laura Farmer, Mary Green and Monroe McClendon; and her son-in-law L. V. Wells.
She is survived by: her children, Hazel Wells, Marilyn Hunter (Phillip), Bishop Larry E. Perkins (Hattie) and Elder Robert Perkins; her brother Lawrence McClendon; her sisters-in-law, Johanna McClendon and Ola Mae McClendon; and her godson Tony Dawkins (Sherrie). She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces and her dear friends.
