She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Gobiel; her stepmother Beulah Vedross; her brother Louis Whitehead; her grandparents, David V., Elizabeth Martin, Elbert Whitehead, Ruby Whitehead, Walter Louis and Marci Vedross; and also, Thomas H. Whitehead, Albert and Vandross.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. Rawlings III; her daughters, Dayna Henderson of Baton Rouge, LA, Shantelle Palermo (Sal) of Walker, LA and Jamie Johnson of Dade City, FL; her grandson Joseph M. Rawlings of Dade City, FL.; and her siblings, Aline Whitehead of Shreveport, LA, Susan Mizell (Gerry) of Watson, LA. and David Whitehead (Rhonda) of Springfield, LA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
