We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2020, at the age of 54, Stanley Melton Charles in Cypress, Florida, born in Port Saint Joe, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lavon Charles; and his father-in-law Phil Lowery. He is survived by: his mother Maggie Charles; his wife Brandi Charles; his mother-in-law Linda Lanier of Cottondale; his children, April Byrd (Philip) of Georgia, Ethan Lowery of California, Daniel Miller of Pensacola, Stephanie Darby (Jud) of Marianna, Evan Lowery of Marianna, Aryan Charles of Marianna and Beclan Charles of Marianna; his grandchildren, Tyke Byrd, Taylin Byrd, Jayce Darby and Colton Darby; his siblings, Scott Charles (Sharon) of Dellwood, Stevie Charles (Greta) of Marianna, Billy Chaidez of Indiana and Stacey Charles of Graceville; and his sister-in-law Wendy Lowery of Cottondale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stanley's memory for the MERE Recreation Complex in Marianna, to the Stanley Charles Memorial Fund c/o Hancock Bank 2900 Jefferson Street, Marianna, FL 32446, where he spent countless hours coaching his children and others in the community.
