She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny L. Curnette; and her son Eddie DeWayne Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Diane Ellis-McRoberts, Edwin Eugene Ellis and Edmond DeVane Ellis; her brother John Williams; her stepson Chris Curnette; and her grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jonah and Jodi.
