He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Slade Poole and Dorothy "Dord" Todd Poole of Wellesley; his wives, Mary Lynn Poole and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Poole; his stepson Charles E. Beane; his brother Todd Forrester Poole; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Poole of California and Herbert Poole III of Maine; his stepdaughter Nancy Beane Kolligian (Mark) of Massachusetts; his stepgrandchildren, Bailey Kolligian (Shane Moorehead) of Massachusetts and Max Kolligian (Haley) of South Carolina; his nephew Todd Poole (Lisa) of Vermont; his niece Catherine Poole (Anne McClintock); and his great-niece Miriam of Massachusetts.
