She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Bill Trueblood; her children, Cynthia Kates (Robbie), Dana Derkacz (Mike), Ryan Loflin and Tiffany Loflin; her stepsons, Travis and Blake Trueblood; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Madeline, Alex, Andrew, David, Raelyn, Tiyana, Jace, Delvin and London; and her siblings, Judy Law and George Merkel.
